MR - How much is enough?
Is there a point where additional MR doesn't make sense? In other words does MR max out at a specific number and add no value beyond that number?

Re: MR - How much is enough?
As I understand it, 100% is the cap for PvE, and 140ish% is the cap for PvP.

Re: MR - How much is enough?
It's always better to have more MR cause you'll get less damage from magic. I don't think 100% MR is the cap for PvE. Cause I've noticed the more MR above 100% you have in PvE the less damage you get from magic attacks. And also, if you have around 170% MR you won't get cancelled in PvP.

100 MR for PvE, for PvP the higher the better.
On Zelgo you were "cancel immune" at 140ish MR.
On Justice you need way more MR to get there (around 170-180).

Re: MR - How much is enough?
I remember the old day 127mr is "cancel immune". That is not true anymore?
and 100 was always true to pve.

Re: MR - How much is enough?
People have a lot more SP on private servers, because it's easier to get good items, that's why you need more MR here. So 127mr is not enough anymore for "cancel immune".

Re: MR - How much is enough?
yes, because of higher levels + higher int/sp the cap to be "cancel immune" is higher.

Re: MR - How much is enough?
Old Client had 140 mr as hardcoded value for immunity to cancel spell. Only method to overcome this was Erase to effectively reduce the target MR by 3/4.
This server uses a dice-roll based on SP and other stuff. If the roll is higher than the mr: pooof!
This is theory-crafting.
Let's say you have SP26 and roll D12, with an average roll of 6.5. A total of 149. You get the drill...
