I've never played a server with this feature. How does it work?

Thanks for the reply.  I have wondered this in the past having seen mages with +6 Weapons. I had never played a mage until now, so I thought I should get clarification.

Let me clarify.  Since a Mage typically uses magic, unless they are using their weapon in Melee and actually hitting something, there is no benefit to using Dai's/B-Dai's on their weapon, correct?  Or am I missing something.

Is there any advantage to adding "plus" values to a Mage staff?  Other than the hit if its used as a melee weapon?
