Let's start off with the fact that I am new on Linux. I am using Linux mint is there anyway I can play on this server or is it a lost cause? Any help to get started would be very much appreciate. I played lineage WAY back when it was in beta and played it for years until they shut down the servers. I've played a couple private servers afterwards but they never lasted so I just gave up on the game. I stumbled across l1j and it sounds promising. Only issue now is I am using Linux and am very new at it so I don't know my way around it very well yet. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to a reply.

you can try running it in wine or some other alternative

other than that I dont know much about it

I've tried using wine and lutris to run the jLauncher.exe with no luck. 

As I stated on my original post I am completely new to Linux so I was hoping maybe someone else has done it before and could give me some advice.

try just using login.exe
