Hi, hope you can help.

Working on the level 30 Dark Elf ques, finished part 1 to get the Demoted Orc Forest Guard and got the list from him.

Went to Ronde turned in he gave the 7 letters.

When I tried to use the coresponding letter for the town at the specified locations, nothing happened and the text in the chat verified that nothing happened.

Went back to Ronde to try to reset the quest, did not work, so thought of deleting the 7 letters and did.

Still can not reset the quest and have no letters, they did not work anyhow.

Please help, thank you.

If you tell us where in orcish forest the demoted guard is I could try my luck, it would allow to know if the problem is on your side (missing files or something like that), or if it is a bug. The Lineage Compendium guide doesn't show any precise location, so I wandered around without success.

 

I finally found the guard after looking at the map from closer. It was the same as for you: the letters did not work.

It would be nice if that bug was fixed. If we really want the gloves we can buy them, but we can't buy moving acceleration, and we can't do the following quest.

It would seem the Level 30 Dark Elf Quest has not been working for some time. [5 years?]

This would explain why almost no one plays a Dark Elf, without Moving Acceleration playing a Dark Elf is a experience in PAIN!

So just did the quest in Aden and it works, outside of Aden City does not work.
