Lineage 1 has come a long way since 1998, and in a lot of ways the changes and updates have been wonderful. 

That being said there is a special place in my heart (and I know a lot of other hearts) when thinking back to the good old days of year 1 Lineage on Official servers. 

Lineups at the Talking Island dungeon skeleton room to get that sweet blue in your name, people saving up all week for an ndai to enchant their long silver sword. Rumors spreading of the top player weilding a +8 Rapier but nobody believes it. 

What if we had a special event sometime to revisit the early days of Lineage, roll back the version to the very early days, Shelobs galore! Run the map for a set amount of time, and give rewards based off of leaderboards or something. 

Maybe have an item called a "Nostalgia Token" that drops and can be turned in for rewards on the main server for those who won't be no lifing for that bapho kill. 

Run the rates right at a dead slow 1x like they were on official. Better not use a potion on that skeleton because it costs 50a, and the skel will only likely drop 30!

Not sure if this is even possible, or interesting for anyone else. Might do us some good to see how spoiled we really are these days :P 

I like it. Those ungoliants and shelobs were a hot mess. regening in the inn room because there were NO MPR items. Gotta take the boat because the teleporter charged SO MUCH MONEY to get to the mainland. luls -- farming rough mithril in elven cave because no other place dropped it. Same with fungus juice. gotta farm to make that gear. Elven plate mail was best in slot

DK in MLC was a group effort and MLC was number one pvp spot. Farming werewolves between kent/Gludio was meta adena farming gold. Iron boots/gloves were meta but that was it. No Iron visor or armor. 

Silver Knight Shield was level 15 quest. OP af
