Since this thread is kind of all over the place and people aren’t entirely following the process, here’s a full breakdown of the karma switching process.

Once you have karma, either positive or negative, you have to either hunt the opposite karma or use Fragment of Blood Stone/Fragment of Soul Stone to reverse your current karma, UNLESS you get all the way to level 8 (either 10,000,000 or -10,000,000 karma).

Once you have 10,000,000 or -10,000,000 karma, you can speak to Trembling Person, and he can switch you from 10,000,000 karma to -1,500,000 karma or from -10,000,000 karma to 1,500,000 karma, the equivalent of level 5.

If you are currently at level 5 karma, and you do not feel the need to get to level 8 (which is often the case for Undead karma, as the level 8 earring only adds weight reduction), then you are going to have to hunt the karma or use fragments to switch to the other side.

EDIT: Slitsu/Omni say it's +/- 1,000,000 after switch, Zhin says +/- 1,500,000. In any event, it's one of those.

The Trembling Person puts you at 1m of the opposite karma. Not 1.5m.

It's really, really poorly documented elsewhere, so it's important to establish something concrete not just for this server but potentially others.

To follow up on the tips given early in the thread, for a WIS/INT-mage, is it advicable to therefor hunt for a 8 Ammy and then reset before going for the earrings? I've always been gunning for the earrings first in my previous gaming due to the rare nature of earrings.

go for earrings (probably best to buy frags with the higher income of mage) because amulet slot is very easy to get good ones such as black wizard amulet or stun resist amulet while earrings aren't really replacable unless theyre +6 repaired or +6 purification earrings. I wouldn't even bother with earrings past lvl 5 the frags would be better spent being sold and working towards one of the other earrings

ok, so i am a bit confused about the karma rate here. it says karma rate x 16 in server info, and i am at lv 5 now, and i already feel the hardness of gaining karma points. can't imagine how it feels if it is normal karma rate, lol

Yeah, the rate is correct. Everything on live is designed to take months and years of dedication to attain. Despite still feeling slow, it's much, much faster here.

To be honest, it takes probably 10 to 14 days to finish 10m +karma.....it is really easy....i did it on my illus in 8-10 days
