Food buffs
It was driving me nuts trying to find out what different buffs food gives you. So I did some digging and here's what I came up with:
Fruit Salad: +20MP
Roasted Kiwi Parrot: Range HIT+1 and DMG +1
Cavier Canape: Melee HIT +1 and DMG +1
Sweet and sour fruit: HPR +3
Roasted Bear Meat: +30HP
Roasted Claw of Crustacean: Range HIT+2 and DMG +1
Cockatrice Steak: Melee DMG +1 and HIT +2
Griphon Roast: +50HP and +50 Mana
Roasted ant legs with cheese: -1 AC
Turtle Dragon Cracker: -2 AC
Great King Turtle Roast: -3 AC
Elekkadom Stew: 10% Magic resistance
Lesser Dragon Wing Skewers: Elemental Resist +10%, MR +15%
Roasted Boar on skewers: +5MR
Roasted Spider Leg Skewers: Magic power increase by 1.
Deep sea Fish stew: +30HP, HPR +2
Alligator Stew: +30 HP and MP
Mushroom Soup: +1% EXP gained
Crab Meat Soup: +2 EXP gained
Basilisk Egg Soup: +3 EXP gained
Note: Any food that ends with "of Fantasy" - according to the help I got on global chat. It gives you an additional 3-5 Damage reductionHope this helps.

Just goes to show cook books are now probably worth their weight in gold in game.
