chance from +2 to +5 for 0 safe enchant items
so if i bzel a +2 archer guarder or ddpm, possible results would be +0, +1, +2, +3, and blow up, so the chance to make it +5 would be 1/5. am I right about this?

Re: chance from +2 to +5 for 0 safe enchant items
Not exactly because they're weighted differently. The chance to blow up is much higher than the chance to go +1/2/3. It's difficult to find the numbers on safe +0 items, but at +2, we can guess that the rate should be 50% to blow, 50% to go any of +1, +2, or +3. I do not know at that point whether it is more likely to go +1/+2 than to go +3, but I think it's a 33% chance if successful to get any one of those results, which would put the total chance from +2 to +5 at 1/6 (50% * 33% or 1 ÷ 2 ÷ 3).

Re: chance from +2 to +5 for 0 safe enchant items
actually the probability of a 0 safe enchant item on base code is if I recall correctly... Too many years behind.
1/n+2
Then bzel chance is 1/3 for each under enchant level 3.
So to sum up. You have a 25% chance that a +2 non safe item goes. And 33% of the times it will be a +2.
