Every time I move the game lags horribly. Fighting looks smooth but moving is just really, really bad. At first I thought it was because of my crappy machine, Windows Vista, but when I tried it on my Win7 computer it still happens, even when using a fresh download/install.

A few people in the forums have the same problem as me but their solutions don't work. Even changing from windowed mode to fullscreen doesn't work. I'm already using the latest drivers and everything.

Just out of curiosity, are you fully buffed with haste/brave?

No. I just started as a new character. It's a Knight.

I would have to see what you were seeing, but keep in mind this is a very old game. It's far from smooth. When you use haste and brave potion as a knight, the moving speed gets much faster, much smoother. I would try that first, then let me know otherwise.

I'm still new. I don't know how to get haste or the brave potion that you're talking about.

Are you playing inside a virtual machine? If not, edit the properties of the shortcut and change the compatabilitiy mode to Windows 7. What version of windows are you playing on? I've had people disable windows Aero to fix issues.

It's not a virtual machine.

The gif I made is me playing on Windows Vista. However it's the same as my Windows 7 computer.

I cannot change compatability mode to Win7 since Vista came first, it doesn't have that option.

I'll try disabling Aero once I come home from work.

Next time you are on, ask someone to give you some brave potions, or purchase some from Warp 3 potion shop on the left. I think there might be a big difference for you. I am not able to really tell the different between what you see in the gif vs normal.
