jlauncher.exe, login.exe and other bin files have trojan viruses [SOLVED]
jlauncher.exe virus can be avoided by downloading the launcher-only zip file,
but login.exe and S3EP1.bin are not.. Could you please fix them or provide a separate link to download these files?
Thanks

Just add them to your excluded files list in your virus scanner options.

well if it was low reputation or other benign issue, I would.. but it was Trojan.class8 which I don't think is neglible..

Re: jlauncher.exe, login.exe and other bin files have trojan viruses
Ok, I did more digging into this matter and concluded that it was a false alarm as the description says it is a generic detection for unknown application.
Sorry for causing trouble. I will fix the header of this thread and hopefully nothing happens..
Thank you for the reply!

Re: jlauncher.exe, login.exe and other bin files have trojan viruses [SOLVED]
Hey lunak77,
Thank you for taking the time to dig into this further, and providing the information to the community. It is indeed a false alarm! The jLauncher.exe can be disassembled and has been by several people to validate that it was clean. IT gets detect sometimes, based on the fact that it downloads files to your computer (aka an updater). The other two files, sometimes get detected depending on your AV but are also false. Appreciate the time you took, and the information you posted should help others that have a concern in the future as well.
