Recently I have done testing with pets. On Test server -dmg on will show pet damage and can be tested on target dummys.

I wanted to see if the Male / Female Hatchlings as rare pets were worth it or just "looked cool". Turns out they are not bad. They are not the best but have their own niche purposes. High HP, HPR and MR do make them viable hunting companions depending on the use. Their damage is pretty good but not the best, there are better options for 12CHA.
Ultimately, these two pets have passed my test and I approve of them - Male/Female evolved are decent pets to have.

 

One issue however. I am not sure if this is normal? You can see the high hatchlings take 1 step and step. Similar to how a golem walks. It's move speed is just so slow it doesn't make any sense for an end game pet. These are not bears.

Would it be reasonable to adjust all pets across the board to have  minimum speed similar to Panda/Roo? It makes the Male/Fem Hatchlings literally useless because they are usually trailing over a screen behind me and I have to constantly .reload for them to even be present. For a pet that drops from a dragon raid, it's a little based.

Any thoughts?

Jindo is another good/fair pet that would be good to have but walks very slow qq

Slower than most pets. I don't see why all pets don't move same speed as Doberman.

Lets Get real here .... PET does 1/4 of dmg in pvp ..... can we plz , improove them for pve?  i was thinking  'always hasted'  ,  lets also buff them since nobody or almost wanna use fang/armors . and also the most important , movement speed..... i use dragons only cuz they rly good at the way i farm ...but i would rater use 4 female hatch if their movement speed be better.....

FYI pet does 1/16 dmg in PVP
