New player question
I was just curious if their has been any talk on ways for new players to catch up to the servers average level quicker. I know exp is 12x till 52 but being this server is about 2 years old as far as i could tell from the forum, i assume the average level is around 72-75. All i care about is pvp and to be relevent in pvp you have to be with in 5 levels and realistically 2 levels of everyone else. Well mainly knights or you get that long stun if thats a thing on this server.
Off topic - As far as downloading the game and getting on the server, this has been the easiest and quickest experience ive had.

Re: New player question
Thank you! We've tried to make it easy as possible. The server has been online just over a year.
The EXP scales, it's really easy to get to level 72 which is where the soft cap is. The EXP starts to get 2x harder every level after 72. Essentially, there is a built in catch up mechanic that allows you to get to the soft cap really quickly... also, the noob ToS area has been buffed for EXP to allow players to hunt there until level 60.
Welcome to the server.

Re: New player question
What class are you?
Noob Cavern of Desire (Varlok) and Temple of Shadows (Yahee) are set on this server to boot you out at level 60. Their experience is a touch less than that of Giran Prison (talk to Merlin at Warp 3).COD and TOS both drop dull weapons, which can be sold to the trade merchant in Giran Trade Zone for 30k each. That's a full n-zel!
Tower of Insolence (TOI) 24F is good for melee too, lots of blessed-zels and adena.
TOI 31F+ is also good as the monsters are all skeletons (undead) so you can do extra damage if you have a silver etc. weapon. This floor drops lots of n-zels and some n-dais.
If you're ranged or magic (rounding), it depends a lot more on your gear, but you could start to take very small packs in Lastavard - until you can determine what you can handle.
You could start rounding on TOI 10F, again, slowly until you can determine what you can handle.
If you love potions in your inventory etc, you can round a little bit in Ivory Tower 7F (the traps spawn a lot of monsters, which is easy to round if youre not polymorphed).
The first room of Ice Queen's cave is fair too for a bit. You get a lot of fungus juice which can be made into mushroom soup (1% bonus EXP gain food).
Honestly, Lineage is a game of science to a degree. Use your CTRL + Q and hit the reset counter. Do a tour of somwhere, usually for an hour, and see what you come up with. Find what you like best and can handle and go for it. It's all about trial and error.
Grind on!
