Deathblade

I currently use a ancient sword on a character but fighting specific mobs it gets damaged a lot.

I was wondering if the death blade received damage if a monster is hard skinned?

Use a ori dagger. It is the best option for PVE in that type of catagory of weapons. And yes it does not break :) good luck!

The mobs I was concerned with are bosses ancient giants stuff like that. I am condsidering a pro dagger pve But due to the amount of time I cannot play are usually hunt the weapons I use

It shouldn't break. I don't remember it breaking on Live.
Make a +9 Orc Bume, cheap, doesn't break and has +1 hit and +1 dmg over DB.
