Excited for the server! Played at first for ~20 years ago and been one and off every 2-3 years or so on different servers. Sorry for possible repost (tried to find though); what are the best Mage beginning stats given possible restat with candle?

18int/wis, 16con.

You can use the test server to plan out your candle strat.

^ what above said, you can chose to candle & delvl if you want a bigger mp pool later (requires 5 elixirs) and is pretty decent difference

Regarding rerolling stats with Candle, could you describe a little bit more?

Once i start getting bonus stats i should put them in.. wiz? and then reset the stats when i reach lvl X with candle to maximize mp?

Assuming you're not going to delevel and delevel or PvP early on, I would put points into the stat that will help you level the best. In your case, that would probably be int. Wis might give you more mpr but you get a lot on this server and with items as it is.

You can restat later for more wis/con/dex later on when you're ready to boss hunt and PvP mor actively.

This is what i did on my mage, i did 17con 17wis 18int to start, lvl up to 56 and hunt 5 elixirs, then use candle and restat 20con and 25wis, then delvl and relvl...by lv73 my mage will be max int, i plan to add dex after lv73 just for more hit bonus using thebe staff....

Do you need to delvl and relvl on mage? Not really, well you will end up with 100hp/200mp more than regular mage...not so much difference ya i know...but why did i do it, because mage is OP and effortless to delvl and relvl....from lv1-52 is baiscally done in one day
