Update: Test Server Changes [Sept-19th]
The following changes were submitted to the test server tonight, on the 20th.
- Added Adena drops back to TOI.
- Additional pet exploitation prevention measures added.
- Updated teleporters to Hidden Valley to point to the correct new location.
- Removed Talking Scroll Quest NPCs
- Fixed warp error message showing only 1-7.
- Exploit Fix - Disabled most actions during the 3s -warp delay.
- Exploit Fix - Cannot teleport when in shop mode.
- Exploit Fix - Cannot use items or skills in shop mode.
- Regular Clan members can not use pledge storage.
- Added clan withdraw history displayed in game.
- Increased DK Mortal Body to be AC / 2 with a minimum of 35 (was previously hardcoded to 30).
- Increased damage reduction of Dragon Skin. It scales with level now, instead of the previous hard-coded value of 3.
- 5 at < level 72
- 6 at 72
- 7 at 74
- 8 at 76
- 9 at 78
- 10 at 80
- Lowered the damage (slightly) of the IT Kiringku starting weapon.
- Fixed DE not starting with IT Claw.
- Fixed new characters not starting with arrows (silver arrows).
- Fixed pets being allowed in Haunted House.
- Fixed MP of Erase Magic back to 10 MP instead of 18asdf
- Fixed tax calculations that was breaking NPC shops with all the spending
- Fixed shop sell totals not displaying in the client.
- You can now purchase Inn keys from Inn Keepers and enter rooms or halls.
- You can now enter Inn Rooms or halls via that NPC.
- Removed the door from SKT shop until we've fixed the dc crash issue caused by doors

- Regular Clan members can not use pledge storage.
Im curious about this, I thought all a Pledge Member needed to access Pledge Storage was a Title bestowed by the Royal ?
What have I missed about Ranking System in Pledges ?

Hello,
I've noticed that DK gets tons of love in this server. Nothing wrong about it. But,
Dragonskin costs 12 hp and is active 30 minutes.
Reduction armor costs 50 hp and lasts 30s.
Euhh...
Knight was prominent live and private servers due stun + CB.
CB nerfed. Ok with that. Specially if only 1 mob drops it.
Long story short, care about balance.

This client expands ont he ranking system, regular members are now equivelent to those without a title, because you can title yourself in most private servers. There are now 5 different ranks of pledge members to which I will post an update about soon.
As for DKs, they needed the love. Knights are already the strongest class, and will likely always be, but to not have a 90% knight server would be a good thing. We are testing and balancing each class as we go with the help of many people on the test server.

To anyone that thinks that CB is nerfed here, it is simply now working as intended (using large damage of weapon x 2 as the output damage). Anything else just broken, as it has been on many servers.

I didnt complain about CB. I have been game developer for some years. As well as analist and coder of other stuff.
Also leveled a knight legit to 78 on a live server.
About balance, there is no balance when a skill does the same. One costs 3 times more and lasts 60 times less.
For instance, bounce attacks, does nothing PvE.
And to be honest, Knight is not the strongest class. PvE DK and DE outdamage knights. And PvP knight only offers stun, CB is circunstancial. It is only against melee physical attacks.
Still, we can argue that stun is the strongest skill PvP. But, is 1 cell range, and 3s cd? Not taking into account that stun resist reduces each % by 2. So at same level with stun resist items you come down to around 25% stun chance.
Dont take my words wrong. It was a suggestion. Because, what it is really wrong,,, is Beefing something up to the sky, let players play that class and from one day to another revert changes because we fcked it up boys and girls.
That just shows a poor analysis.
By the way, so long as source code is accesible, I am fine with it. You changed on test some code but skill-data base reflects prodution code I guess.

There's no need to get worked up/defensive about what I said - I wasn't accusing you of anything.
The fact of the matter is that the literal purpose of the knight class is:
1) Soak up damage
2) Do a steady stream of damage not reliant on heavy buffs (unlike DE, DK, Elf)
3) Stun
I agree with you saying that CB is circumstantial, but knights are not the underdog here, even with CB working as intended. -

I would argue that you're forcing knights into a box to say they have 3 roles... Soak, steady damage, stun. is horrific lol.
No one should say that a class has one roll with so many weapons..
IMO I've always played knight with shield and 1HS for dps and a SOS for the purpose of backline fighting... However a knight should be able to roll a 1handed spear and a shield running Solid Carrirage with BK poly and speed assault ranged units. Can't tell me the knight has 1 roll it's supposed to run and nothing else. It's just that's a role only the knight can fill if it goes that way.
I've been a large fan of the idea of adding new weapons to the DK/Illu class so they can come up in early/mid/late instead of just 2 weapons and a massive power change.For instance if we're talking about stupid... I was on when people were testing illu and watching (yes it's a chance) the illu perma stun people...I know and illu us lowest hp and suffers some draw backs... but what class should have even the CHANCE of a perfect 1v1 melee ass stomping while perma stunning the opponent? Even knights have a delay on their stun that makes it too hard to keep spamming, and they give up solid carriage to stun meaning they cant stop an elf from triple spamming hard.
Also 2HS slows your swing down meaning it deals more per hit but also doesn't stun lock your character... I really love using my Royal in PVP with a ori dagger because you swing so fast the opponent cant move they're stuttering so hard from the hits, very good for keeping a mage or elf from running. -

i think you guys are forgeting the most important part of a knight is to tank damage in a party while mage/elf and other classes damage/debuff u guys say u played this and played that have a lvl 80 knight in live having a LOA linegae lvl 80 any class is nothing compared Dep/Ken lvling so all this talk is about end game pvp when u dont always bring a server for the top in pvp if its not in a seige becauese 1vs all is not how lineage is ment to be played its takes a army to take a castle not 2 ppl

This skill duration is 1800 s and costs 12hp
Damage reduction from reduction armor is Level/10 costs 50hp and lasts 30s...

@darkjustice I'm sure we'll still see more Knights. People don't primarily play Knight for Reduction Armor. You say that it's "just stun" but that is the main reason to play Knight along with still having pretty good damage over all and cancel not effecting them at all compared to other classes.
It looks like you are trying to get something buffed that you want for yourself.
