Shadow Sleep - DE Spell
Couldn't find any info on the probably value of shadow sleep but it's the only DE utility spell (AB is not utility) in game and it feels vastly underwhelming
Every elf spell I could think of had probability of 33 set + 30 dice. I'd like to suggest making Shadow Sleep on par with that.
Shadow Sleep is currently 30set +10 dice. Currently cost law as well when the NC site has Inclination Change" listed as none
Some have suggested leaving the probability as is and instead increasing the duration.
I am suggestion putting the probability on par with elf spells and leaving the duration. Either are fair claims.
Whether the duration is too low or the probability is too low, the combination stacked agaisnt this spell make it borderline useless. Buffing one or the other would give it some competition as a useful point.
I recommend buffing the probability as we already have elf spell info to compare it to for one and secondly changing I'd rather not go agaisnt the duration set by NC live standards.
3 second sleep would be fine if it could actually land.

Re: Shadow Sleep - DE Spell
Shadow sleep is a single cast use spell that stops the target, check the illusionist spell

https://l1justice.com/lineage/database/skills/103/ - 990 delay 20mp range 3
This spell is about the same as the DE spell but carries 3x the cooldown to try, carries a less chance to work and costs more mp on a class that MP is extremely crucial. This is balance though. The illu has to ask is it worth it to use this spell right now because they cant afford to spam that cooldown and mp.
Elf spells have to be spammed over and over and over if the enemy is using cm's and are designed around use with a team involving mages... if you consider mage sleep, they REQUIRE a elf to erase, the de and illu does not. If we were to raise the chance of de sleep that can be spam casted when mp isn't their most required resource would we also make it so mages can use fog of sleeping without needing erase to compensate? It's a slippery slope.
The dark elf spell is used to allow for fast ganks or escapes in pvp. I got slept 5 times at the siege last night in a row, it's not a low land chance compared to elves, you're just trying to sleep a higher level target or they're using CM.
If you could provide a reason behind why it should be raised when it's a good utility spell that doesn't require any other class's help I might agree... But currently as a Mage/Royal player I can tell you I know what it's like to play characters that need and elf to erase so I can land spells like cancel, dk, silence, sleep. or as a royal needing immunes and heals since you do no damage and cant tank like a knight, you're simply a buff character. A DE can dish a ton of damage, if you landed an AB then got a sleep off right after you give your team 1-4 seconds time to get on that target and destroy them. That's why I vote against any change to this without a good explaination of why you feel it's needed besides "it's lower than elf"
And no I'm not trolling you, I've provided reasons.
