Mage pvp balance?
It seems like mages are useless when pvping alone. Why do I say this? Here are the reasons:
First of all I'm lvl 75+ with 40 INT 41 INT with this ring event with 31 SP.
1. Can't cancel players that are almost the same lvl as me with 150+ MR.
2. Weapon break fails 98% of the time.
3. Curse paralyze, sleep, slow you name it NOTHING works.
4. 75+ morph swinging with mana dagger depletes mana in no time.
What is a mage supposed to do? 1:1 Mage vs another mage is fine but with any of other classes? there's NOTHING a mage can do...
My MR is 160+ and elves lands their magic like bind, slow attack speed(not sure which spell), slow moving speed is casted on me with NO erase magic... If elves can land all of these spells on a mage with 160%+ MR with no problem, so should mages no?
If you have a different thought let me know but as far as I know, there needs to be some kinda balancing for mages... For example, if mages are fighting with a melee character, mages should be able to have SOME chance to land a weapon break, slow or whatever...
Please don't reply with "why are you pvping alone? PVP with an elf then and land your cancel" Because I'm not talking about pvping with other classes. I'm talking about 1:1 here.

As a high level mage that plays on this server. Mages are fine and lineage isn't a 1v1 game lol stop wasting your time trying to 1v1.

lol as a high lvl mage it's fine? in what way? tell me how it's fine please. I'm talking about "balancing" here. Mages are weak in 1v1. There's literally NOTHING a mage can do other than swing for mana and cast sun burst.
I'm lvl 76 and I believe I'm high enough to state these facts. Please elaborate on how mages are fine. Thanks.

Balancing around 1v1 gameplay would lead to some problematic consequences in group fights, where mages are already very strong as healers/I2H and finishers. The game is simply balanced around group PvP. Mages are already the most effective solo PvE class, they don’t need to be the best at everything.
Also, Elf magic is primarily level-based. That is why it lands more easily without erase. Of course, Elves are also going to be able to cancel much more effectively in solo situations due to erase.

Mages are fine, they are overpowered as is. Meteor does more dmg than what it should already.
cancel actually lands over 140MR WHEN realistically ncsoft has 140+ as cancel safe on live etc
you want to land spells, then get a team?
this game isn't built around 1v1...
elf magic is level based... always has been
