Invis abuse
Invis was meant to be an end-game buff.
We all know how BBQ abused those first b-coi ganks on lowbies. We couldn't discuss the legibility of those COIS: they put an effort getting them.
With the XMAS event, problem was aggravated. Everyone has one. Hey! Don't take it wrong. I love my COI, even I barely use it.
But for PvP is ridiculous.
IT. IS. RIDICULOUS!
- Make COI have a chance to evaporate when you got detected. 5%.
You just have to modify detect code method from Player Character PC object.
pc.delInvis() check if ID object is COI then 7% chance of blowing up.
if ID object is B-COI 5%
If Tarak 3%
DO something!!
I don't know if method .delInvis is called when removing coi too...

How excatly is a BP killing dragons abusing a coi? People are better then me at the game wahhh
Also could please make it so when mage casts a spell they have a 5% chance to lose the spell. Also knights weapon should evaporate after using stun.

I already gave you the solution to "fix" coi in the other thread. Risk of coi being deleted is kind of stupid

Killing dragons is not abusing coi... What I said is that ONLY BBQ and few others had LEGIT COI drop and no event-related.
Well, I think that COI evaporating would help the server. People doesn't like changes. People are afraid to think out of the box.
I will tell you what is COI gank good for: 6 people enjoying a carnage on 1 victim.
I will tell you what is good for a character just spamming hotkeyed Fx COI: nothing.
It is true that adding delay to COI(even when detected) would help to some degree.
But making it evaporate would also help economy, giving COI a real value in game: an item that should be end-game now is just trash-abusing.
Making it evaporate when detected takes away only the bad part of it. Free use for PvE and for some tactical situations, but not abusing.
Also, average Lineage player loves to gamble. That 5% chance is just the cherry on top.

The Easy fix is to make the player take 10-25% DMG everytime you are detected.
Not counter detect but detect.
COI ganks are part of the game but yes COI ganks at the moment is too easy and being abused.

As a retired coi ganker - I agree coi ganking is literally going on 24/7 by new wannabe Calvin’s
however I don’t agree with cois dissolving, or delay etc. coi should stay as is, nothing is wrong with them other than things (not something exploitable just the nature of how it is when a player gets hit while coi’ing up) that’s I had reported to GMs which should be a simple fix
there are many ways to avoid getting ganked
1. Be more aware with your surrounding and how mops are acting (if they chasing something else and not you etc obviously)
2. Make some detect scrolls so you can detect while hunting often prior to when you kill mops
3. Use the new floating eye + blinding pot tactic that is soon implemented by GMs into our server
Ive been “attempted coi ganked” by NTFP or whatever many times and they have failed always due to the measures I take while hunting.
however coi ganks can be made “harder” to be successful based on things I’ve told GMs about. Players can’t stack cells, or you bounce off cells that players are invis on like live etc . Not being able to stack causes less coordinated players a much harder time to even attempt a coi gank :)

I don't care much about COI gank. What is annoying is a player just running and donning the COI over-and-over.
Cloak of Invis was designed to be very rare on a 1000 population server. When Sam and his stepmother have 2 COIS, each, on the storage... Well...

I agree with you on this, it's something that should be reviewed. Not getting knocked out of COI when being attaked is just another of the old bugs on my list to fix.

Another fix would be removing the toxicity from the people ^^. if you gotta 5 man coi gank someone you got a problem
